Module 1 – Therapy Practice Skills.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Discuss how to plan a treatment room layout and include equipment and furniture you will require.

Describe the importance of the couch layout and show what is required for a make-up treatment.

Explain the articles required on the top and bottom tiers of the trolley.
LO4
Introduce the dress code of a therapist and the importance of having one.
Module 2 – The Skin.
On successful completion of this module the candidate will be able to:

Investigate the three main layers of skin, the layers of the epidermis and describe the Stratum Germinativum.

Describe the sweat and sebaceous glands and give the two forms of coil base.

Evaluate the various functions of the skin.
