Once the course is finished the student will be ready to take the ICB Level 1 & 2 manual Bookkeeping examinations and ICB Level 2 & 3 Computerised Bookkeeping examinations. Each examination level will need to be passed before proceding to the next level of study.

Course Duration

Students may register at any time and have a full year to complete their studies. Study time for each course is estimated at 80 hours.

Assessment

The courses will take the form of a series of written assignments which are submitted and marked by your tutor. If you wish to gain the formal ICB qualification you will also need to sit an online exam which is home based.

Study Method

The course is designed for study by distance online learning at home or at work.

You can start at any time and plan your studies over a period of up to one year from the time of registration.

Qualifications

With this course you have two options:

1) The course can be studied for personal interest and development without assessment; you can be supplied completion certificate from us.

2) The course provider is an Accredited Training Provider of the ICB and the course covers the requirements of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers Level I & 2 in Manual Bookkeeping qualification and Level 2 & 3 Computerised Bookkeeping qualification. On successful completion of the course you will gain an Award from the course provider – from this point you will be able to sit online exams at any time with the ICB. On successful completion of the exam you will gain official ICB certificates.

Q: Do I have to sit an exam?

You have the option of sitting the ICB examination to gain the full offical qualification.
However, if you decide not to sit the ICB examination, we can provide you with certification stating that you have studied the course.

If you decide to sit the ICB exam then there will be a small fee, made payable to the ICB (due at the time of exam booking.)
